Kurt's smile grew wider (if that's possible). He liked the students, even though he wasn't a teacher here he felt responsible for helping them, just like how the other X-men helped him. "How ah da others? Logan, da Professah?" He turned to Peter and asked. He was very happy to return.

Peter shook his head. "Try it again, fuzzball, and I'll cave your skull in." He said menacingly, though his blue-grey eyes glinted with humour. He quieted as Athena introduced herself again, watched as she stumbled slightly. It must be hard, meeting this many new people in such a short time. He felt kind of sorry for her, but that's how things were done around here. Always go go go, never any time to rest. "They're doing... okay." Peter replied, shifting his attention back to Kurt. He had never really liked Xavier, the way he taught the children... It was a whole lot of brainwashing, a little learning. At least, that's what it seemed to him. "Wolverine is always off somewhere, as usual... the Professor has his hands full training all these new mutants." He shrugged. "Busy like it always is."

Athena bristled, not at the personal turn of the two's conversation, but at the mention of her grandfather. He was formidable in battle and in person, she had heard from various sources; he could and would kill a man as easy as ham-string him. He was also one of her remaining relatives; as was her mother, though Athena didn't know her well. She had seen her mother a handful of times, and her grandfather even less; once, maybe twice. She had a healthy dislike for the short man, but couldn't help but be curious about her maternal grandfather.
"Gra - uh, Wolverine teaches here?", she asked, quickly mending the stumble in her question. The less people who knew about that particular family connection, the better, in her opinion.

Kurt laughed at Peter's menacing humor, but felt slightly disappointed to hear that he missed Wolverine. Then the disappointment turned into suprise as he heard Athena's question, then laughter he tried to fight back. "He did say he vas an aht teachah, but dat vasn't seriahs vas it? Although he has his own vay vith kids." He chuckled, and added. "Yew ah interested in Wolvahrine? Vant to meet him in person? He looked ah lot shortah than in TV."

"Art." Peter snorted at that. "Yes, if you call slicing and dicing an art." He chuckled, leaning back against the counter again, curious gaze on Athena. "Wolverine is an... interesting person, to say the least." He said cautiously. It was hard to explain the man to someone. He could be very kind and generous, if you knew him at the right times. But for the most part he was just... untouchable, in a way. As if he were from a different world, and you just couldn't get close enough to him to know him without getting something sliced off. Any little thing could set him off, and you never knew what it would be. "Just... be careful around him." Peter said finally.

Athena scowled at Kurts' question; did she want to meet him? No, she didn't want to meet him, she wanted to stay away from him! Or, better yet, punch his ugly mug. Feeling decidedly ungenerous towards her grandfather, the peirced teen answered succintly. "I'd hate to meet him." (She had a hard time not adding "Lousy bastard." to that sentence.) "And,", she added, after Peter's bout of advice - though she missed the inside joke about art, "I'll be careful if I ever do meet him."

"Ja, yew don't vant to get on his bad side." Kurt agreed. He had seen Wolverine's menace side for a few times. He couldn't say he liked it, but all those times they were fighting some bad guys. Athena's choice of word, hate, made Kurt raise his brows. Such a strong negative feeling, but he knew better than to keep asking.
He turned around to the cabinets above the counters. He didn't forget why he was in the kitchen in the first place. He opened the one beside the sink and pushed all the jars and bottles and bags aside. There it lied, a bag of chicken shaped cookies, Nightcrawler's secret stash. He took the cookies and put everything else roughly back to where they were.
He asked while opening the bag: "Fräulein Decosta, yewr hands?"

"Ужасная немецкая пища." Peter wrinkled his nose as Kurt pulled his snacks out. "Horrible German food..." He grinned faintly, watching the blue freak. He loved messing with him. It was easy to, since their countries were so close together, and therefore their cultures were so alike. "Eat at your own will, hmm?" He suggested, turning to look again at Athena. He was curious why she had acted so hostile towards Wolverine when they mentioned him... it seemed so strange.

Casting Peter a confused glance - she had no idea what he had first said, as it had been in his own language, or so she assumed - Athena's eyes went from the Russian to her own hand. The bandaids were sticking well, which was good; the teenager didn't want another shirt ruined because of blood. She'd already burned her other favorite shirt to a lump of smoking threads earlier that day, due to her temper.
"My hands?", she repeated, echoing Kurt, holding out her hands.

If Kurt's skin wasn't all blue and furry, you could see him blushing. English was his second language, and sometimes he couldn't communicate well with it. "Um, on yewr hands, zat is a veird place for bandaids." He pointed to the bandaids on Athena's ankles, hoped he made his question clear.

"Oh, those!", she said, suddenly getting what he had been talking about. She then looked sheepish and embarresed; and slightly annoyed, though this was mostly at herself. "Yeah, well...I, uh, experimented earlier. It didn't end well.", Athena shrugged, tapping the bandaids lightly - lightly enough so the scratches on her knuckles didn't hurt, at least. She might have had the claws of her mother for a few minutes, but that didn't mean she would have the healing factor as well. Her powers simply didn't work like that; besides, her slight wound wasn't enough to trigger a reaction, right then.

Kurt smiled a little. "Vell, zat's vhy yew ah here, to learn how to...um, end yewr experiments vell." He finished the cookies and made a mental note to buy more later. He threw the plastic bag into the trash can, and yawned. "I'd bettah brush me teeth and go to bed now, time difference." He waved good bye to Peter and Athena. "And don't vorry, Petah, I'll valk zis time."

"Oh, I don't care if you scare the other kids." Peter shrugged with a smile. "Just don't pop in front me if you value your limbs." He grinned jokingly, leaning back against the counter by the sink. People didn't seemed to be staying for very long... Rick had come and gone, and now Kurt too.
